So much for early ice we are getting hammering with snow. What little ice there was will get insulated. Stay off and stay safe!

There is no ice on most of the main lake, so snow right now is not a problem.

It is supposed to get very cold next week and if we can get the lake frozen and there is no snow, ice should develop quickly. Needs to be calm as well.

Had an e-mail today from a friend who lives on the shore just North of the Innisfil Beach Rd. Yesterday, there was ice about 400ft out from shore. With todays East wind, it is back to about 200ft.
