Sorry but I don't buy the garbage excuse. We where paying good money to park in that lot. Maybe some of that money could of went to a few more garbage cans scattered around the lot and the bottom of the hill instead of two lousy cans that were always chalk full. Need more money to maintain the property? charge a couple more bucks easy, it's called management. Give your head a shake if you can,t tell this is a bunch of B.S.

This all sounds crazy we live in Canada a free country. With more fresh water then any other country in the world . We live here we pay taxes here . And we can't go fishing. Our government likes to sell off water front land only allowing the rich to use it . They should stop this BS . If it's about people littering then punish those people . Start impounding their car or hand out 1000.00 dollar fines . Don't give the right to a few to deside to punish everyone for the actions of a few . DEAL with it or move away if you won't

Agree 100%

Becarefull about parking in areas not allowed. The city may hire a private towing service to clear vehicles out if it causes a hinderence to the city. Can you imagine returning to shore after a long day fishing and finding out your vehicle has been towed. Not worth the hassle in my opinion.

Seems if you want to fish there parking on the street will be the only option. Hopefully it's not a tow zone.

Or once ice is thick enough, drive through that little beach, and park on ice (close to shore)? I would not believe the city or any city could ban nobody from parking on a lake?:-)

last year i got 2 tickets they were 20. bucks each but im sure they will raise that. i payed 15.dollars a day 3times a week sometimes more, thats alot of money in a season not this year  the parking pass gods have answered my prayers,

The parking ticket (fine) is $20? Mmmm, it sounds like a very good deal to me, hahaha. I mean if you go to Gilford now, and park at that Township of Innisfil paid parking lot nearby it is $35!:-)

Dont get excited...parking in resident lots are like a $85 fine man.

In my years up here i have seen waaaay too many vehicles through the ice to ever park near shore, or even drive out as well.
