Hey guys I am getting a float suit this year but not sure where to get one. The mustang suits are about $500 bucks. Canadian Tire doesn't carry Keep-a-float suits any longer. I don't see any boxing day sales on one anywhere either. Any suggestions?

I bought my Mustang one piece from sail for about 350$

Keep an eye out or Kijiji is your next best option.

I also bought a striker Predator suite last year from fishing world. Very comfortable suit. Worth the money. I don't think you should put a price on your life that's may two cents. Yes it's expensive but your life shouldn't have a price when it comes to fishing either open water or hard water.... Merry Christmas and be safe this ice fishing season . tight lines everyone.

I got mine at Canadian tire last year. In store clearance. Both pieces combined for less than 150 I believe. Keep a float brand. Check online and switch stores to see availability. Still some in the midland and Barrie stores

Dave.

Check out Tromblys in orillia. I bought a Salus floater suit from them a couple years ago and got a good deal. Plus the salus suit has a more comfortable fit than mustang IMO.

STRIKER ICE CLIMATE SERIES 2 PIECE. The BEST float suit on the market by far! I wear nothing but a t shirt and my boxers and I've been out in -40! lightweight very flexible, a little pricey but its a one time cost! I highly recommend! Got mine at fishing world in Hamilton.

Elwood Epps on 11 in Gravenhurst has good stock and prices on both Salus and Mustang suits.

I bought my Mustang there (MS-195), at the time it was the best price I could find. Lost a bunch of weight and it didn't fit anymore. So I went back for a two-piece Salus suit.

Both are great suits. I went with two-piece for convenience this time so I can take off the coat in the hut.

Good luck with your search.
