Last year was awesome, amazed at how many jumbos I hauled out of there, Heading to bewdley tomorrow morning, anyone know if the bit is on lime it was last year???
I will update myself when I get back from the ice, slab grabbers, buck shot tipped with pinheads and with any luck fish and chips for dinner!

How far out in Bewdley do you have to go to get some decent depth of water?

Depends on what you consider a decent depth- if you are looking for 10 feet- it's about .8km. Best thing to have is the navionics app on your phone. I don't leave home without it. It feels like a heck of a long walk if you are walking and the wind can get nasty as it's pretty open through there.

Thanks swiftdeer. I will download that app on my phone today and check it out. I am hoping to get out on the ice Sunday morning.

Well, -34 on the ice is no fun, Haha. Windy to the point where I almost didn't get my hut up, and (should have known) that kind of cold shut down the bite, if there was one. I was about a half a km out, in about 10 feet, there was about 8" of solid black ice and the lake was roaring making new ice. Sat there and watched backs slowly swim by lathargicly, will hopefully have updates on a day where it isnt freeze yer nuts off temps!

Hopefully we eventually get a day that isn't "freeze your nuts off temperature" this winter has been brutal so far. I was out there on Wednesday and all I caught was 1 dink perch.

Are there good numbers of decent sized perch there? I've caught the odd Jumbo but not common for me. Just wondering.

I use JPEG Imager 2.5 which is a free download for resizing pictures, very fast , just hit compress.

They definitely do! I find there will be periods where bluegills are hanging around a dink perch, then when you hook into one jumbo, rig up to what you sweat by for jumbos, cause they all seem to be together and the bite is good!
