private parking near BBP, what would it be worth.

so we have a fairly big lot 100yrds from the lake just south of BBP.since I'm off work due to health reasons I can plow a spot out for 10 or more cars.would there be any interest in something like this and whats it worth?

The town charges 15$ does it not? Id say 10$ and youd be making an easy 100$ per day, no problem. Make a sign, place it in yard, collect cash, ezzzzz money

Just make sure you are the one parking peoples car. God forbid someone hits the gas instead of the break or some ###### drinks and drives and hits others or your house. Play it safe. 10 bucks is better than 15 like the town charges.

All those risks will always be there no matter what the price is too park....

Once the town finds out that they're loosing revenue, the by-law guys will shut it down.

Not to mention if the neighbors don't like it.

you could do that, or head to the town and get as many parking passes as they will give you and get your innisfil friends to aswell. they will fetch large here hahaha, just dont do it on the forum, i heard its against the rules.

There may be a bylaw but they would also want you to pay tax . Byaws you can get around some times . You would have to claim it. Charge 13 bucks 10 for you 3 for the government. Plus you would have to spent a little to get it going but could work.

If you open your parking to the public then for sure they will put a bylaw against you sooner or later. Also you'll probably get certain types of people that you would rather not deal with.

If you open your parking to this forum members only and collect money privately then I don't think there will be a issue since its your land. I think this would be the best solution for you and plus you will have respectable forum members that will respect you and your land.

Please let us know cause I would pay $10 to park even though I'm a total newb when it comes to fishing lakers and whiteys lol

Always a potential problem if you make it a business.
However can't see it a problem if you invite some friends from this forum up for the day and if they leave a house warming present say 10.00 or so no different than any other occasion.

I drop my gear and buddy off near the lake then I go park, then walk back and meet up with my buddy.

Worst case is the city finds out and makes you declare your earnings as income, forcing you to charge more like $20 a car for it to be worth while.
