Well...
I worked the afternoon shift on Cooks Bay, today.
Didn't bring my portable and was punished by Mother Nature severely.
It was -12C, and the windchill made it worse.
Regreted my lazyness about digging out the shed from the locker.
But the temptation to be there was bigger than common sense.
At the beginning I got many dinks 3-6 inches. At about 4 pm the "bigger dinks" started to find my lure.
Then the jumbos gave me hope, but it was too late, it got too cold.
Brrrr. Need rum!!
Just kidding. I had some hot chocolate, but it was not enough to last me for another hour. So, I quit!!
Fished at 15-18 FOW. About 600 meters (or so) off KonTiki Marina.
Plenty of ppl at the beginning, .
Driffting snow and wind were a real factor against staying on open ice.
Have better luck in New Year everybody.
Stay safe and warm.

My Fishing Riddle:

A place where boats can launch and store, the name the same as the lake explored.
Walking straight will get you tight, but jumbos are hidden further left and right.
Fish your offering in early time, twice as deep as dead men’s pine.

Tight lines, and happy hunting!
