Hey everyone! Any report on how the ice is now after the thaw? I would love to come up and fish out in the middle of the bay but I'm thinking that ice won't be safe anymore?

Looked like quite a bit of open water from the skyway. Still ice further back in the bay but I have no idea what conditions are there.

Looking at the satellite imagery from a week ago to just recently, it looks like lots of is gone from the bay..

Before the rain and thaw that we had the ice in the Oakville Harbor had reached a weed bed that I am familiar with. So i was there yesterday and to my dismay the ice has retreated way back not even close to the weed bed anymore so I just came home..
