I have one walleye catch about that size from the lake... nothing more. Well done, and I hope we see more of them in the coming years. Would be great to have another species to target rather than being the odd lucky catch!

Smolt Trout Group: Members Posts: 188 Member No.: 1194 Joined: January 17, 2012	Nice catch. I caught my one Simcoe walleye in 1989 (29 inches, 11.75 pounds) and have seen maybe 2-3 caught in the Thorah-Georgina perch grounds.

Good to hear it was released but not surprised coming from you. Might hit Huffs this weekend if we get a break in the frigid temperatures but if not, will try somewhere local to us. It's been just over 4 weeks since we put the boat away and that's the last time we fished so getting the itch real bad!
