was hoping to get out this Saturday on the sled looks like a few more cold days ahead but has anybody seen or been out in deep water on a sled? i tried to pull my two man on Monday and almost died of a heart attack trying to pull it back in that deep snow.

Bear point operators put there huts out with argos and sleds on the weekend, I can't speak for other parts of the bay though

I fished Sunday near line 2 ORO and there was a few sleds and ATV's out there. There was a lot of cracking. depends on where you plan on sledding. There are a bunch of pressure cracks right before we got all this snow so be careful.

I Know exactly what you mean hauling your gear though the snow. I was struggling big time on the trip in on Sunday!

Thanks for the update boys, If the BP guys are out i'll stick to the established travel routes they know the ice and Donny is a super nice guy very helpful.

Yeah Monday made me question why i do this, started to think if they had Uber for ice fishing i would have paid whatever they asked

I think ice will be ready for the sleds this weekend, stay safe and tight lines
