I was wondering when the jigging rap and Jensen egg world come out!! that's in my top 3.... micro jig with minnow, and drop shot with minnow on the high hook... sometimes instead of weight on drop shot I put small buckshot or jigging rap......

Where can you buy these slab grabbers , and is there different sizes?
Canadian Tire in Newmarket and Keswick sell slab grabbers.
I shouild also mention I always have a drop shot hook a foot up from the rap or buckshot etc, and bait it with a minnow, minnow head, powerbait maggot or plastic jensen egg. All work.
Ive also made up some home made perch talkers that did well last year, and last night I made up some perch 'photo finish' spoons that I think will be killer. They look incredible but will have to see what the action is like. Its basically a 1 3/4" long willow leaf spoon for worm harnesses etc in gold. I flattened a round 1/4 ounce split shot and epoxied it to the back of the spoon, on the front I printed out an image of a perch on tissue paper and epoxied it to the front. When the epoxy hits the tissue and wets it out, the tissue disapears, just leaving the perch image, with the gold glowing and coming through. I use the same technique on muskie lures and it looks awesome. Just have to add a split ring and treble and we'll be off to the races.

I use the smaller raps in perch, fire tiger, white-chartreuse and orange. I upgrade the treble hook & mostly tip the treble with a small minnow head. They're great getting back down quick when there are fish under you. Not great fishing close to others as they can glide on the drop instead of straight down.

What color/size raps do you guys prefer?
I think perch works the best. Also find the original jigging rap works better than the newer variations rapala has come out with over the last few years.
