Ive actually did really well this year on a Johnson thin Fisher in perch pattern. Tipped the middle treble with a minnow head. The larger profile kept the dinks away a little better. First time I fished perch with them!

#1 is a jigging rap in parrot, #2 is glow perch talker tipped with minnow. I will mention SlabGrabber is moving up on the list real fast.

I spoke to a MNR officer on the ice one year. He said they don't care if you use them since it is not edible part.

Back to the question. If you fishing for numbers the rap is faster and effective. For size I find the slab grabber do get the bigger ones to bite.

they cared last year when my cousin got fined bigtime.....


What was the fine and what was the charges? The part is not consider editable pieces. I'll do a call tomorrow to confirm.... but I don't think it is illegal.
