I think they missed their goal. Next year there will be hundreds of them on the other side of the guardrail, doing the same thing. When their garbage falls on the other side of the rail, "by mistake of course" they legally can't retrieve it.
Also, how do these anglers return OOS fish without trespassing?

A face punch wouldn't change them, although you may get a bit of satisfaction out of it. But, a $500 or $1000 fine would make them think twice. You wanna' really hurt someone, smack 'em in their wallet!

You can't educate the stupid, inconsiderate and ignorant. They'll just move on and do the same crap somewhere else unfortunately. It's so frustrating. See it everywhere. 😤😤😤

This has been the trend for sometime now, Sad to see that many young kids wont experience the shoreline fishing adventures that the majority of us adults have had. Initially getting us introduced into this recreational sport. Over population of local know fishing areas and the lack of common sense in people, when it comes to picking up after themselves. Horrible!!!

Gee wonder who the culprits are? Littering and defecating. The same thing occurs at any place you can fish off shore. Totally disgusting and even though I haven't fished off the causeway in years it's a shame that these measures had to be taken. At least a lot of pre-spawn bass will have a chance to actually spawn.
