> Lake of Bays, Any Ice?

New to forum. Wondering if there is any ice on Lake of Bays. Looking to launch next weekend and fish there for first time. Trying for lakers. Anyone have any recommendations re. where to launch & start? Big lake. Many thanks.

i think you are going to be a week to early to get on lake of bays . in haliburton still have ice may be gone by mid week ice just starting to turn dark in some of the small lakes.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting how ice out fluctuates. I live near Powassan on a small lake and we just lost our ice last night.
