Belwood Lake

We used “Berkeley gulp alive”minnows on at drop shot hook about 12” up from whatever lure we had on at the time. I didn’t have time to get live minnows as we decided the night before to give Belwood a try instead of heading up to Simcoe. . I’m not sure the live minnows would have helped the day we were out as we didn’t mark any fish on the flasher.

I headed up to cooks bay the following day in hope of some “redemption” and getting the “skunk” smell off me lol which paid off. Came hope with 17 nice jumbos and a pike.

LOL Thats the girlfriends old one. I use it for some saftey equiptment and my scale was in there lol. everyone loves the pink box lol

Not sure whats going on at the dam but in the village saw open water yesterday by the bridge and piled up ice downstream into the lake.
