Went out to Chemong Lake last night by myself for a few hours to fish some Black Crappie. Found a really good bite caught about 50 or so and missed a bunch as well. Kept 9 or so for a nice fish fry. I fished the north side of the causeway on a break that goes to 8-10 feet deep, Fishing in the weeds of course. Lots of them were suspended in about 4-5 feet of water. Used a flasher, makes things a lot easier, definitely a game changer! Oh I was using white micro tubes!

Where are some spots to park and walk out on the ice for Chemong? Have always been interested in going out for crappie, moved here from New Brunswick about a year and a half ago and have never caught a crappie.
