Lake Erie Ice

Just wondering how the ice is further out on erie would like to do the +3km walk this year. Am looking at leaving from port colbourne. Or where is the best spot to leave from around port colbourne.

Any info on the inner bay? Out of st Williams?

Was out last week out from St Williams managed 5 keepers and a small pike which I released. Wasn’t overly productive. But I stayed in and around most of the other huts. I hear a big pressure crack opened up just beyond the huts.
