I'd like to hear your opinions, I'm heading out tomorrow to simcoe, a spot where I normally go to 30ft, but 4 days ago was out at that depth and only caught dinks, moved into 15ft and slayed! It was about -12 as oppose to tomorrow which will be +7. It's kinda tricky, one one hand, since the warm weather has just started I'm thinking it might make them really active in shallow where they seem to be lately and on the other hand I'm thinking it might draw them out deep, any opinions or tips would be greatly appreceated!

Went to Port Bolster today and it sucked. 23 FOW threw everything down there and landed 6 keepers in 8 hrs of steady jigging. I'd wait till it gets colder, there was a foot of water on the ice when we came in. Probably be pretty wet till it gets colder. Fish were there, interested but not hitting. Guys in the neighbouring hut were basically skunked. As far as depths, probably wouldn't have made any difference today.

I did ok on simcoe, got into jumbos but no monsters, the only thing that threw off the perch was the herring haha, could not.keep them away! We went t9 15ft in spot where I would normally go to 30ft, the lake had a puddle over it's whole surface and really sketchy ice by the shore around the pressure cracks, soaked my foot first thing!.. after the cracks, solid 10" black ice, no problems there.
