Found a good bite this afternoon. When we find them the bite usually starts near dusk but today it started about 4pm and was fairly steady for about an hour and half. We could actually sight fish until the light got low. Three of us took home 10-12 fish each with a number of smaller ones released. We were using white tube and scud bug type jugs just above the weeds in 8-10 fow.

We started spread out but the fish seemed to be concentrated at one hole (mine) near a weed gap so we closed our grouping and were fishing only 6-7 feet from each other and sharing the action.

Sorry I'm not at liberty to share where we were.

Sorry to be klutz about a posting issue. Something about my account seems to close the topic (note envelop icon) when I post or reply.
I've been all over the board; account settings, help, etc. and can see nothing to illuminate the issue.
Every attempt to contact an admin or moderator is met with an error message i.e. I'm not permitted to use that function.
I don't want my contributions to halt further discussion on a topic and would appreciate any insight (if you can find a way to contact me).

Nice haul of slabs. "Kawartha" as a location is good enough, not need to say more.

I believe you need to have a set number of post before you can send a PM to anyone.

Thanks Thanh

Getting a reply reassures me somewhat that that envelop symbol (which isn't in the legend) maybe doesn't "seal" the thread.

please keep these spots to yourself as there are too many lurkers on these boards and if it gets out you spot will be invaded and overfished in no time.

Nice haul - specific locations should never be disclosed on social media.
