I was out yesterday seen 2 vehicles on the ice. The ice was around 12 inches in most spots.

Went today. Lots of trucks and even the odd car out there. The bass bite was pretty good. Caught about 10 decent largemouth and a few sunfish with a couple of crappie later on. Everyone was catching bass but not much else.

Thought you knew that lake? Anyway I was in the south end and nobody was catching anything of any size except for bass which averaged 1-2 lbs. I actually only caught a few perch which were a bit bigger than my jig. There should be some good ones somewhere because the size class was decent last season.

Used to be able to catch lots of perch in the weeds in the south end of the lake , but last year was hit and miss and this year just bass and sunfish with an odd perch. May have to relocate a little farther up from the south end.
