My buddy caught this pike the other day. Look at the markings on this thing. Maybe a hybrid pike of some kind? Maybe a chain pickerel? It’s the wildest looking one ive ever seen.

No other pics. I wish I took a better one. I can’t see it being a Muskie in that body of water but I can’t get over how much the marking resemble a tiger Muskie.

Sure it"s a tiger? total pike tail. And the curved markings on the body are a bit more perfound. But i don't really know. Either way. It's a beautiful fish!

if anything it could be a hybrid between a pike and a grass pickerel or even a grass pickerel we use to catch them as kids in the lower thames 35 years ago.

I was thinking hybrid also between pike and chain/grass pickerel. It would be impossible for Muskie to find there way into wildwood. Thanks for your input everyone

Out of Wildwood? That is nuts. I'm sure everyone would say it's a Tiger without a second guess, but it can't be. Not in Wildwood. Unless aliens or birds dropped it in there.
It's certainly not a chain pickerel. Not even close.
Grass pickerel and pike cross, I could be convinced.
It's special nonetheless. Congrats. Hope you took some nice pics.
