True that but we used to go up for m7g's when the fishing was hot for what was called the

"Ling Fling"

anyhow for the OP. no idea how it is now, usually early and last ice is best imo

Fished many times and first and last ice are the best on this lake what I found.

Yes a few of us kinda ol fellas still have some recollections of that lake eh,Rhy and Shank ? That and a few others . Always fun

And yes we caught our share of fish and will likely give it at least one rub this year . Were just a tad testy and crusty in crowds unless it's OUR CROWD these days . . But all give it and catch lots . We want you to .Seriously . Just yanking your chains as us dated ones do with a chuckle . LOL
