I headed out to island lake today. Lots and lots of people. First time fishing this lake but I knew a pretty good spot. There was 20” of ice and on the last inch my auger handle broke. I use someone else’s to open another hole and finish that one off. I was using spoons and minnow a all day. One bite but no takers. The guy next to me had a flag and it was a nice 25 in her. The weather was very cold and snowy. I only used 4 minnowes so I have left over for next week. I payed $9 for minnows and $10 for parking so it was a waste. But you win some you loose some. Hope every one else got em.
