Hello,

Looking to try my luck on Huron this weekend and i am in need of some advice, have the
Whitefish moved shallow? Are they on the move drifting the flats or suspended in water column? Just looking for some information so i can plan and pick my route accordingly.

I thank you in advance

Going out on Huron eh....well, let's see - at the Soo, they're in 57'. Down off St. Joe, they're out in 80'. Out from Gore Bay try 110'. Parry Sound? Go for 70'. Midland/Penetang 30'. Owen Sound 150' (unless they're in the harbor at 25'). Kincardine - 40'.....

Sorry couldn't resist....Lake Huron is rather large man. You could be more specific. In all seriousness, on some bodies of water I have heard that they are shallower than normal. But everywhere you go is different and the whities will simply move to wherever the bait are.

Good luck and let us know what part of Huron you find em!

I hear you on your statement LOL wee bit of a brain fart on my part haha. I should have stated i am looking to get out in the Espo area. I have been ghosted by the species this year, and usually i would target them like any other fish. Find the bait find the fish, anyways i thank you for your reply. I will set up in 50FOW and stay mobile until i bump into something.

Cheers
