Hoping to get some info. 6 of us are headed to chilly willy this weekend and I was wondering if it’s worth it to bring sleds and quads with our portable huts or should we leave them home and try to travel where we can with trucks or on feet?

If you got the option bring them. More options are always good. Sled's and ATV's in most cases are safer than a truck if ice thickness can be an issue. Sled's also have the advantage of getting across pressure cracks better but can have cooling and slider problems without snow on the ice.

If you want to run and gun during the day then bring'em. Usually when the boys are away they like to have a few "Pops" so there is always that to consider. Not that I'm saying you guys are irresponsible, I'm just saying... Have a great trip

As of now I think an ATV is the way to go. At my end of the lake it is still snow covered but it picked up a lot of water from the rain and it's now frozen up so hard that you don't leave a footprint when you walk over top.
