Lower niagra ice report

Thinking of taking the boat ( 18 ft deep v) out for some steelhead drifts on the lower......all the ice gone? Anyone been out ?

Good luck and remember water is cold make sure your wearing your life jacket at all times and don't go alone. Good luck hope you catch.

Is there anything in particular u do to the engine when u pull out for the day? Prevent freezing damage and so on?

I typically winterize my boat ......and won't be using livewells till nice weather.......but do u need to do anything to clear the water from the intake?????or any other precaution for cold water boating once u pull out??????

If it's an outboard motor they are all self drain systems if it's an inboard they you need to drain the block and put anti frezze back in
