Great fishing up there for smallmouth bass, pike and walleye. Brook trout and lake trout fishing is ok.

Great for pike and walleye. Brook trout are mostly fished out.

I was in the Elk Lake/ Gowganda area a week before the walleye opener. The speck and pike fishing was good. You can down load a stocking sheet from kirkland Lake MNR. cheers 7r.
