A friend of mine sent me this picture today.i tried to find out a bit more about it ,What lake it's from what the scientists say etc.i wasn't able to come up with allot of info.
One person posted this
"Siamese walleye reportedly caught out of the Bay of Quinte!  "
I wasn't able to find no official report other then that.
Some said it was a smaller fish stuck in the guill plate of a larger fish.
Others said that conjoined fish do occure naturally, however the odd off them reaching maturity is not common.
Or maby this picture is a hoax that's been recirculating for years in different areas and it's the first I have heard of it.
Any one have any thoughts or insite on this .
Thanks

Been around for years now. One fish stuffed into the gill of the other. Seen the same with two pikes

Its what happens when you tie a small walleye on a stringer and then slide the rope through the gill plate of a larger one caught next.

It would also beg the question if you caught it, and 3 others on a sport license would it put you over your legal limit?

What about slot size? If one is to small and the other part is a keeper, what to do?

That fish looks crazy! Do you think it would eat twice as much, and does the bigger side hog all the food?

The big one might get the first touch of food but the little one has the inside track.
