Last week we took advantage of the extra hour of daylight and did a bit of shore fishing after work. I caught a couple small perch but then, right at shore this girl bit with an attitude! You could tell she was full of eggs so after a quick picture, she went back swimming. I'm guessing it was about 25".
After that day the cold nights settled in, freezing up about 8ft along the shore which made catching a fish impossible as you couldn't get it over the ice slab. Tried breaking and pushing it away but just too thick. Good news is that the ice is gone now so hopefully get out a couple times this weekend.
