Pike Fishing

Hello all, was thinking about heading down to fifty point this Saturday to toss for pike. Has anybody been taking advantage of the ice being out and doing some open water pike Fishing. Any information is appreciated.

I live close by but have never tried open water fishing at fifty point... I fished on the ice once on family day years ago but that was before I knew anything about fishing. Do you just fish at the marina? I assume you would have to pay to get in right?

Yeah the marina is usually a good spot tough to fish. When you catch you get decent size fish as they com in from the lake. The cost is $10 a car no matter the amount of people in the vehicle. Once the boats go back in you can’t fish near the docks. You can still fish the restaurant in area and the opening to the lake.
