Darn near anything I can grab goes in my boat and no joke I do bring bananas in my boat.
Does not make any difference with or without bananas in my boat. Just a stupid rumour to keep a great potassium filled snack out of the boat.
I bring them as my Dad suffers from muscle cramps and the potassium helps him avoid the cramps. I got so used to doing this I bring them all the time and catch fish regardless.
Common items are Gatorade, yogurt, nuts, bananas, ice tea or coke, granola bars, pizza, water, sandwiches and sliced home me made dried sausage.

Lol, don’t know if I mentioned... I will be offering a free banana to every person entered in the pike tournament. Eat, or bring it on your boat at your own risk!

Banana on boat? Rumor has it that you can't bring anything that is even remotely related to banana (such as Banana, Banana Republic apparel,...) onto your boat, which would bring bad luck to you, and "help" you catch no fish at all.
Then back to food and drink on boat. I fish on my kayak, and I usually bring one or two packs of JACK LINK'S beef jerky ("SWEET & HOT" one is my favorite) as my snack, sandwich, hot tea, and bottled water...

I bring bananas and things always work out just fine! I bet trolling with a banana peel would even work on the right day lol! The best thing about eating on lake O, is that as soon as you start a sandwich, or perhaps a banana, or even a leak for that matter, there's a good chance a rod fires! Anyone else notice this?

Yes, that's how to catch fish...do something (anything) besides fishing. Taking a sweater or shirt off seems to work well for me..about half way through when it's over my head and my arms are tied up seems to be a high percentage period of time for getting strikes.
About the food... chicken wings. Cooked in the oven the night before. The more sauce on them, the better chance of having a fish hit when your eating them. There is a high probablility that your cell phone will ring during this time as well.

Sweet chili spitz are a must.
Although probably explains why my bilge pump isn't working. I can't fish without them. They somehow keep me from being hungry and they are easy to eat while you fish. They also keep u awake and alert to set that big one.

Hahaaaa, you’re not kidding... my last boat had so many sunflower seed shells under the deck that the bilge would work 50/50 without having to twist off the bottom chunk and clean it out. They are great to eat on the boat, but man... they get everywhere!
