I am going to my sons place at Jocko Point for the opener. He does not fish unless he is with me.So my problem is that it is a huge body of water if you are clueless about where to go.Any suggestions would be greatiy appreciated thankyou brickie
Any place up in the shallows on that side of the lake is good. Spring Walleye tend to be up shallow chasing baitfish until the shads hit. If you have a decent boat, find some shoals or go out by Goose Island. Good luck.

A lot of the walleye in Nipissing spawn along the rocky shorelines, fishing along these areas opening day will produce. The northern pike spawn in the shallow bays, so fishing the outer edges usally produces well with larger 10 lbers and up. Good luck!
