Nice photo .
Was out on the tractor with brush hog on the weekend and came across mother and 2 fawns . Pretty sight !!!
Also been noticing a lot of turtles crossing . Trucking through cooper falls road up to doe lake rd and stumble across 7 turtles crossing. Gave them a little boost to get across the road . Nice to see them out . All rangeing from different sizes.

I’ve seen a ton of young turkeys around my weekly work travels (Rosseau- north of Parry Sound) this year, lots of big groups of young ones with momma along the roadsides.

The incredible miracle of life begetting life. And so the species continues. Life is so precious! (And Please excuse me as I pontificate for a moment.) As licensed hunters we must do our part to ensure that these beautiful species can continue to survive and thrive. That means obeying the hunting limits/rules set by the Ministry and reporting any violations that we see. Hope that fawn can survive the summer and thrive in the fall. Hope that fawn will grow into a magnificent 10 pointer and pass its precious genes to the next generation. Love that pic!
