Been a while since I've posted on this side of the site, but planning on heading up to Nipissing and Nosbonsing mid January. We were originally trying to book a single day hut on a Saturday, and I learned that that accommodation doesn't really exist anymore lol That being said we have a few days of fishing planned. 24 hours on Simcoe, then driving up to Nos for the day, and finally capping it off on Nip.
Looks like we will be walking out, so thinking the area of Callander Bay. I've only fished on Nipissing once before and was able to get a hut for the day, so I don't know my way around too much, but are there any other decent access point for walking out that may be worth checking out on that side of the lake?
Can't wait to get back up to the area again. Such a beautiful spot.

I used to walk out to my shack from the Callander lighthouse on Lighthouse road. It was an easy 10 min walk to 28 FOW. I had to move away from there because one of the outfitters in that area kept harassing us.

Maybe consider skipping Nos. Nipissing is just much better.
Staying with my buddies Dad who lives right on the lake so we will fish Nos for the day after we arrive and then head to Nip for first light the next day. Great way to hit both.
