After a great season and a horrible fall with so many wind days plus temps in the 60s at 100 feet down, it is time to get the boat hauled out and stored for winter.
got 1 mote walleye trip for tomorrow and then shoot down and get her power washed and on blocks.....then head to cottage for Thanksgiving and beyond
will do a recap later on, but for now....there are thousands of salmon sitting offshore in 110-200 fow, just ansy to head upstream.temps need tp drop even tho the first flight has pushed in some time ago.
you got a shot at shallow fish each early morning and evening, but then they move back out or simply not quite ready.
the last outing saw a few nice 2 and 3 year old silver fish and that's always good
anyways, good luck to those still venturing out and a huge Thank You to those that came out with me from this site this year it was a pleasure

Haul out is always a sad time. Time at the cottage will be the perfect fix for that. Enjoy it to the max, you deserve it. Thanks for the great outing with my boys earlier this year. Weather permitting, I hope to be floating until the end of the month.

If these crazy winds would ever let up, we could all still be hammering those erie walleye. Later this week is looking decent though! Im holding on as long as i can before putting the boat to sleep for the winter.
