From your experience, does the West Arm freeze earlier due to it smaller size and shallower water (and warmer temps)?

Don't know if I'm seeing it right but it sure looks like it's frozen all the way. Top right corner of the image.

was at the beach this morning, lake is frozen over as far as i can see, there are some dark spots, but it is a good start
