Hey KokeMachine......

Any swimming pancakes in Lake Nipissing?

Do you mean crappie? Or are you referencing my Cuba fishing episode?

ya the cuba 'sode! that fish was flappin' jack!

By the way, i'm a leech on the log guy, too.

I see we've found a dedicated 4 EEL FISHING fan here. Thanks for checking out those old vids. My beard was so much shorter then.

Thanks, BIGFILTHY! I appreciate the good words. Great beard you've got there, too! When that wind gets a blowin' beards sure hit the spot!

When I first saw the snowmobile tracks I thought the ice was only 2-3" but I was surprised to find 5-6 inches of ice close to shore.

Heard yesterday that a couple guys that live out on the islands in the South Bay Area, they were traveling by snowmobile rather than their airboats/hovercrafts.
Another fellow that has a Russian Sherp broke through in three known soft spots, but it does weigh 2.5 tons. Also was mentioned he said Hunters Bay he stayed on top.
Still risky, but it’s at least a good sign of ice formation.
