Smolt Trout Group: Members Posts: 165 Member No.: 9551 Joined: May 24, 2015	So I ventured out about 400 yards this afternoon along the South Shore between Callander Bay and Deep Water Pt. I drilled a few holes and ice was surprisingly good. It varied between 7 - 9 inches with at least 5 or 6 inches of black ice with 2 to 3 inches of white ice on top. Sorry I can’t compete with Kokemachines entertaining reports we all enjoy, but I thought people would still be interested. Looking good for Jan 1st!

Only an inch or two of snow. Some spots even bare from wind.
