Outside of a few, very few nice days this fall stinks. Ever since we got back from the cottage, October 15th which had 2 nice days and then quite cold and windy, same down here.

had a chance to do some shore fishing for salmon on a float rod and did really well 2 or 3 times, but most of my days spent winterizing boats and motors....5 boats 7 outboards as my nephew decided to drop his by as well. Would have been easier to do all at once, but no I here and then another 3 days later

Finally had big rig shrink wrapped last Tuesday.....

I got too much stuff and will be selling 1 boat package next spring for sure.

now tp put riding mower, mower to rest and work on snowblower which is acting up somewhat.

And I will not get into mouse issues...that has been covered

so, did I get Big Lou? of course not but his brethren keep me quite happy

Now for some Niagara steel

I agree, the fall weather sucked

Time to put the boats away, very sad ...

One of our worst ever in terms of catching pike. In fact, I don’t think we caught more than 3 all fall. At least the perch were keeping us busy.

I agree as well.. If I type here what I think about the fall weather, it would be a profanity laced rant.

So I will sum it up in one word - TERRIBLE!

Wanted to get the boat out at least 2 more times in late Oct, but could not get a decent day, cold, high blistering winds and or rain. Finally a decent couple of days in early Nov, so before the bad weather returned, threw in the towel and winterized the boat and did all my winter prep for the house and vehicles..

Glad I did, as winter came a few days later..

Thats that...

Ha ha ha...….Got the leaves raked/blown and mulched

Jerry, know this was a concern for you...went and bought a blower/shredder....CT for about 80 bux and really does the job....put them all on our garden.

Cannot remember the last full sunny day we had, just a few teasers

O well...…..at least most of the stuff is done tho….

Too much complaining. I loved every fall day so far. That's what rain coats and warm boots are for. Tons of fishing (not enough catching). Only put the boat away on Sunday, and still felt stupid for not being out on the water one last weekend. A nearby lake is entirely ice covered! and the water is gettin cold everywhere else!

you do not shrink wrap on rainy or super windy days and the great lakes areas have had lots of both

It went from nice summer weather early in the fall to shitty cold, wet and windy almost overnight. I'm not close to getting all my pre-winter tasks done thanks to the weather.

Good to have you back shank and on a positive note this weather of lately should guarantee us ice on Nipissing for our annual trips in January.

As far as Big Lou, I think you might of had him that day if you weren't at that craft fair holding your wife's purse
