Made it out, caught one small perch. Saw a pike on the fish tv and a bunch of 4-5” perch but only had the one topside. Fished 3 spots from 10 feet to 26 feet. I think minnows would have made a difference but it was nice to scratch the itch.

Jacob’s is still open. Can’t beat the scoop of minnows they give you at a reasonable price!

When did you last go there? they have had a sign out front saying they are closing for a year now. Last time i went by it was closed for good.

Has anyone actually been into any decent jumbos ?

Was out twice early last week ...tried shallow and deep and seemed to do better shallow for size . However i still ended up fishing deeper than planned. Also noticed that the water seemed a little dusty with the camera down. Heading out in the am for another try.

Has anyone been out recently that can give an update on ice conditions? Driving up from London tomorrow to get out again and just want to make sure it’s worth the trip. The weather down this way has been terrible. Rain and more rain and soft ground.

Still lots of ice. Bring cleats if you’re coming wear cleats. Glare ice right across lake . One big skating rink!

Ice & Fishing Conditions Update:

Ice Depth: 8"

Went out today on Couch. Had an excellent bite early morning. Encountered 4 good sized pike from 8AM-10AM then no pike after that. Picked up about 20 decent sized perch. Biggest perch was about 10 inches.

Nice man! I’m thinking of trying to get up there next weekend if I can. I fish out a little further, does it look like folks are able to cross the whole lake now? Also I love those couchiching pike, did any of them take a swipe?

First time fishing the lake today. Tudhope area and we had 6" approx. maybe 7". Lots of dink perch and lost a decent pike at the hole. All in all a fun day out to a new to me lake.
