Going up in the morning, fishing between potters and big island , will report back....hopefully with good news...wish me luck, it never hurts!
Good Luck oogie8! I'll probably head up Friday for a couple of days - thinking I'll be fishing the same stretch as it doesn't look like the reach is ready yet. Looking forward to hearing what you find and how you make out.

While maybe small for quinte that is a great walleye anywhere else! Glad you got into them and hope tomorrow is more productive.
My one time ice fishing on quinte several years back was a giant skunk, but I did get treated to a show from paratroopers from cfb Trenton doing a low altitude drop onto the bay from the back of a Hercules.

Nice shootin oogie8. One is so much better than none. That is one thing I don`t particularly like about that area. Tough to distinguish the real marks from the resident perch sometimes.

Yes Chuck, it’s very frustrating isn’t it, I should’ve brought my camera just to see how many eyes were coming in, but I lost two batteries over the summer and I’m down to two that don’t all the great charge so I chose the flasher, got a couple nice perch and another under this morning I’m still in the hut now
