Hey guys, moved onto sturgeon last winter but am having a hard time finding any kind of bite during the winter. Have been out a handful of times this year with not even marking fish. I've tried the shallows in weeds. Flats between drop offs. I've tried deep and everything in between. I'm close to thurstonia so maybe I have to try a hole new area. Any help would be appreciated!

Been fishing it for since it opened for winter fishing, I'm still not dialled in on anything. I'm by pleasant point and fished everything with in a km of here. If you find the crappy let me know.

Agree with mmm terrible lake to fish in the winter. Mostly dink perch and not much in terms of numbers. Haven’t heard of anyone getting crappie either. My advice is go to Simone in the winter.
