I bought these off Amazon for 18.99 last season. After trying a few from PA as well as CT.

These DO NOT fall off and have awesome traction.

My shoes are size 12, so the ones I ordered are snug. So snug that my boots bend when they’re not on my feet. That’s why they don’t fall off I guess.
They’re great though. Would recommend.

That's what I thought... I actually opened the package in the store and tried them on with my workboots... I got the XL as the Titans are more like moon boots... I'm still going to have a look at the dollarama pair out of curiosity

Just spit balling here but would there be any merit in trying to flex the soles while you install the screws? That way the screw hole will be fully open and only ever contract when you straighten the boot back out... Just a thought. And another thought would be looking into using whatever the motorcycle guys use for ice racing... Those things bite like crazy!

I used those screws actually. Kold Kutter Screws.

Maybe the flexing would help, but stnad alone quality spikes are def worth it now that ive used them.

A slip and fall is gonna cost me alot in lost work and will take me outta fishing for a bit. >$50 for decent cleats is worth it. IMO

They use spikes. Here you go (maybe this can help someone building their own cleats):

Lol well ya if you want can sharpen some screws like this guy and go right through the soles of your boots, but i imagine you would end up with cold wet feet.

These are the ones that they sell for racing and come in 3/8"
