You could email them from their website since they don't answer any phone calls. Last Friday I've got an answer "No" but that could change with these cold night temps.. hopefully they are open this weekend.

Good luck!

Btw they recommended me to try island lake in Orangeville and they are open for ice fishing.

My buddy fished orangeville 2 weekends ago - got a few small pike.

I fished puslinch lake in cambridge with him last weekend, same deal couple small pike - one guy wish us landed a nice 30 inch pike healthy fish.

Even puslinch was sketchy in some spots - have to pay attention - one guy fell through!!

4 inches in 95 percent of the lake though just a few bad spots that should be good by this weekend hopefully.

I am also interested in how the fishing is on Belwood Lake. I was thinking to go there next weekend. Any feedback would be helpful.

They cant keep you off the lake, but the marina/waterski school that's there no longer allow you to park on the property, you have to walk in from the road, if you can find somewhere to park there

I was up there on Tuesday morning, very slow bite but good ice 7” or more now. Caught one 17” beauty of a walleye as soon as I got there and not a nibble afterwards. Threw the whole tackle box at em with no success lol. Will likely head up again Friday or next Tuesday and will keep you all posted! Good luck everyone!

Were you fishing by the dam or island. Ive never caught a walleye there but did manage a massive 20lb 48inch pike there 2 years ago.

Definitely must have been a skinny pike, a 48" pike should be close to thirty pounds.. Did you release the beast??

I know before the walleye, crappie and gobies got into Bellwood( yes there are crappie and gobies), that it was typical for the pike derby to be won by a fish over 40”, size has declined in recent years with the introduction of new species, seems perch and bullhead have taken a hit because of it as well, but the smallies havent suffered....can anyone else comment on this?
