Ice conditions between Georgina and Thor?

Greetings fisherman.

I'm just wondering if anyone has been out between the islands yet this year and if so how is the ice? I believe the water in that area is 30-35' and I've been seeing a lot of reports of decent ice closer to shore, say 20-35'.

I'd be very cautious if you're going out tomorrow, heard of ice breaking up all over the lake today in the high winds, one guy out yesterday before the winds even started said there were ducks flying overhead which only means there was already open water somewhere. Tonight's low of -17 will only be enough to disguise previously open water as safe ice which might me 6 or more inches where it wasn't open, but 2-3" where it opened up today and froze over again tonight.
