Hoping to be making some fish tacos through this weekend if all goes according to plan. What are some toppings you guys enjoy on your tacos or other interesting things you do/make to go on or with your fish tacos?

On my fish tacos I love a few pickled red onions and touch of creamy coleslaw.

Pickled onions are soo good. Get them on burritos and they are delicious. Next year we are starting gardens at our new house I will have to practice my pickling.

Last time I made some tacos, I used some frenches crispy fried jalapenos and they were soo good on the taco, next time I will add some pickled onions as well and maybe try some coleslaw.

Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sweet picked onions, sweet corn, shredded cheese and ghost pepper sauce. Caught a feed of perch today and that's tomorrow nights dinner.

Ghost pepper sauce...that's a key ingredient.
Cilantro goes great with tacos too

Lots of great ideas for toppings! We all catch a lot of fish (or some of us do and then people like me just hope to one day!) its great to know as many ways as possible to serve and or garnish them that's for sure.

So my kids & I love perch fried fillets, they're known as " Freetz " around here lol.

They prefer soft white wraps as opposed to hard shell tacos.

A bit of pre shredded bagged tex mex cheese & some shredded lettuce.

For the sauce we use a garlic or chipotle flavored Aioli Sauce (incredible flavor & super cheap at Food Basics).

Top dress with a dash of Franks and once rolled up like piggies in a blanket,, I place them back onto a lightly buttered frying pan for a few seconds on each side (gives the soft shell wraps some crispiness & seals it all up)

The kids go nuts for these things.

I just bought some fried crispy onion bits a few days ago,, for a little added crunch, I'll be trying that on them as well ,,,,,, once I finally catch some fish that is

I also love the soft white shells. Sometimes we just wrap the tacos and eat, other times I wrap up the tacos and toss them in a pan for a minute. A tiny bit of oil on medium high for 30 seconds to a minute and give them a little bit of puff and crunch.
