I actually found a jerry can with 2stroke premix, a 1/4 bottle of alberta veeodka and a new unopened 1l honda 2stroke oil bottle, they were scattered on the ice when i pulled off sunday at 11am.
Picked it up... cus i couldn't stand the idea of it getting buried and ending up in the lake when the lake opens up again.

CTV Northern Ontario interviewed a guy who lost a few hundred dollars in tackle, some opened bottles of booze and a few other items.
I hope someone finds out who they are so this doesn't happen again.

We lost the one Jerry can full of fuel and a cooler. (Pop, water and beer.) So all and all not a lot of $$$. Just upsets me to think of the low life's out there! JP

Hey JP, were these items stolen out of the bungalow or were they outside the bungalow? Just wondering because we have left stuff outside and the wind took them, I have heard stories about bungalows getting blown down the lake up there.

They were outside but, both were full. To heavy to blow away..... Now if a Snow machine or vehicle helped them off the ice. That would make a difference !!!!! JP

Guys had balls if they were stealing stuff outside the bungalow while you were in it. Hopefully their luck runs out sooner than later.

My friend and I had to chase our ice hut down in Callander bay a few years back, no snow just ice and high winds. We could not get to it in time and it flipped over and trashed everything inside. What a mess. After that we anchored it down for safe keeping.

A-holes!
I was in Ramakkos's up here a few years ago and there was a guy replacing all his tackle. Guys hit his garage and got everything. He had a security alarm but they waited and did the job in a thunder storm
Lodge down the lake from our place got hit one spring too. They targeted their fleet.. made off with a bunch of outboard motors.
It's nice and convenient to leave stuff behind and lock it up on the ice, but anything that's hard to replace (ie; a rod that isn't made any more) or valuable is best taken with you. If they want it, they'll get in.
