The thing I say about Nipissing is to never give up if you're not catching quantity fish because that quality fish is always a possibility.

Nice fish!

I caught a smaller one this past summer with a missing pec... looked like it had been clipped (stocker?). Only one I've seen.

I can't tell from the pic.. was the dorsal just split or was a spine missing? Sometimes they will take one for aging. The dorsal will fuse back together, but the spine never grows back.
