Interested in ice fishing BoQ and never been there. Was interested in some tips. Is there some popular access point that are easy to park and walk out.
Thanks in advance

Piggybacking on this. I've always wanted to fish Quinte, just don't know where to park/access the ice. I want to go there with my parents, who can't really walk far and we aren't sure of the places on the ice to avoid.

My thoughts would be Potters Creek Conservation area. Hwy 2..... between Belleville and Trenton... Not a far walk....

I'm also looking for some information myself. My girlfriend and I are planning on going the long weekend in February for the first time. Are there certain tactics that work for Walleye there? It's a new area and new species for me. Doing a weekend trip of wineries and fishing

Minnows and jigging.... have to jig for them... I'd recommend going to Pro Tackle (Belleville) for your minnows and info on what to use..... They have a great selection..... if your coming from the other way then the Bay Quntie Bait N Tackle.....

What works for one doesn't always work for the other.....

There are also some hut operators on thebay that can put you on fish and in warm huts!!
