Overnight Walleye

Hey guys! Planning a trip to BOQ soon and I was wondering if you guys think fishing overnight is worth it? I was thinking getting there around 3am and then staying until 9am. Is this worth it? Or should i just fish surise to sunset? Or maybe fish the afternoon into the night and leave around 10pm? I was planning on fishing the west end.

Any advice is appreciated

I've been hitting the bay for 10 years now and have found that the bit really dies off after the sun goes down. There might be a "night" bite but we have never found it. Its usually a morning and evening bite.

I will definitely agree with Randaller there, but, if you only have so much time, i would bank on night as opposed to day, ive caught more fish on the bay on average between 7-10pm than i have between 11:00 am-3:00 pm, just my observations

I don't fish quinte other than rare occasions. That said, any other walleye water that I have fished has shown a sharp decline in action as soon as the sun is down. The bite then seems to pick up anywhere from one to two hours afterwards. I've fished a lot of walleye lakes and that's always how its gone. Your mileage may vary!

I always suspected that to be the case. It definitely slows down at dark, but there's a late night crankbait bite in the fall sooo... An all nighter on Quinte is definitely on my "to do list".
