Drove by the harbour, the Inlet by the boat launch. Their was about 15 huts out Sunday. I didn’t go out, can’t speak of thickness or safety. Usually that’s the first safe spot because it’s such a small little channel protected by trees. The main bay where the warship is usually parked only froze over a couple days ago. I drive over the bridge on York Blvd everyday an have been watching it closely. Careful if your trying to get out to the deep water just yet, shallow harbour you should be good to go I would think. But spud, or bring a bud with ya

Having only by the harbor going to Niagara falls, can anyone tell me what type of fish you usually catch here? As for the parking, I looked at the map but do not see a pier 4, is there an intersection I can look for? Thank you.

In 2012 there was a restoration project started by the mnr to bring back walleye to the harbour, all studies seem to be pointing towards success....that said, ive heard, and or seen, steelhead, brown trout, big pike, yellow perch, white perch and channel cats caught through the ice, really, anything that swims in the great lakes is a possibility
